day 11 - Waxing Philosophical
It’s Day 11 of 333 days of conscious crafting. I’m surprised I’ve made it this far.
I really do tend to get excited about a project for a few days, then forget about it. Something about the routine of going out to the Hive in the morning, Gator dog in tow, coffee in hand, and consciously working out of a small, focused craft basket has turned the key.
Oh boy! Getting a little philosophical now. Watch out! But really. It’s very meditative. I don’t need to constantly be in the energy of new and exciting. I’m ready to enter an era of focused, progressive crafting to complete things.
So today I…
Knit into the ribbing of Typewriter’s body. I had maybe a few rounds more before cast off but was tired and my hands were starting to hurt.
Nothing else. I had a lot of work and family stuff to do today but it was really nice to be able to choose a project and work on it without having to make a big deal out of it, or try to find everything for it. Really nice.
Assessing fit after an inch of ribbing. I’m going for oversized and comfy, yet cropped. And I’m really bad at taking selfies.
