day 10 - Argh! Squirrel Mode!!

It’s Day 10 of 333 days of conscious crafting, and I’m think I got too happy with my progress yesterday.

Not that today has been bad…. just had a real bad episode of Squirrel Mode this morning. I would knit a few stitches and get distracted and have to look something up. Rinse and repeat, and my morning session of a few hours gave me only a few completed rounds of knitting.

But maybe it’s just proof that it IS working because I am more conscious of the fact that I’m dithering away precious crafting time falling down internet rabbit holes. Ok, I’ll view today still as a win.

So today I…

  1. Knit a few inches on Typewriter, almost to ribbing part on body since I’m doing the semi-cropped version.

  2. Had to stop myself from shopping for a new knitting project, looking up things to do in Key West, researching Northumbrian runes, and scrolling for funny dachshund videos. I finally settled down in the evening and knit for a bit.

  3. Yet again, procrastinated frogging J’s hat.

Even with a really bad focus day, I made progress.
