day 6 - I Should Be Working But…

It’s Day 6 of 333 days of conscious crafting, and I guess I kinda extended that consciousness towards impulsive buying at craft fairs!!

I work for myself as an upholsterer and seamstress, so my working time is more flexible than many people, which I love so much. So I took advantage of that fact today and hit up a Christmas Craft Fair!!

I’m proud of myself; I didn’t go overboard. I always take a set amount of cash with me because I don’t like to use cards with vendors at craft fairs. Cash is king, baby! Plus, it puts me on a budget. Found the cutest little crocheted Opossum!!!! He’s going to my nephew, who’s 1. Too precious. I just can’t even…

So today I…

  1. Decided J’s hat is a tad too big and am going to redo it. He says it’s fine but gosh darn it, I’m like hats that fit correctly!!

  2. Got real brave later in the evening and dove head first into Typewriter. Got all the neck shaping done and only have to pull out 8 rnds from a boo boo!

  3. Fully finished 3 of the 9 pillowcases. Would have done more, but Gator gets a little impatient lately near his bedtime.

Ack! SO CUTE!
